If you’re looking for extraordinary poems about the human condition, then you’re cordially invited to browse my site.
I’m poet Guy Farmer and I write deep short poems that aren’t like a lot of the poetry out there. My work is different because it uses minimalism to encourage the reader to look deep within and ponder his or her past and present.
I had a reader in New York City comment, “Your poems elicit a deluge of memories and feelings, a welcome divergence from much of contemporary poetry.”
Here are some of my extraordinary poems:
- Go to Sleep
- Community Organizing
- Keep Talking
- Absorbed
- They Closed the Supermarket
- Nice Dream
- So Close
- Temporary Assistance
- Unprepared
- Family Values
- Scarcity
- Majesty of Change
I’d like to thank all the remarkable people who have made my poetry book and this website a success. I’m so grateful you’re out there reading.
