Regardless of wealth,
Perceiving the world
As infinitely dangerous.
Nothing will change his mind,
A worldview burned into
His being, inseparable from
Self-image, identity.
Violence, darkness,
Gaping, weeping wounds,
Debilitating fear,
Disheartenment.
